Privacy Policy

• Your mixes and settings. The sounds you layer, their volumes, your saved mixes, the sleep timer and fade you chose, your theme, and whether DeepDream Plus is active are stored in the app's private storage on your device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
• Nights slept. The app keeps a simple list of the nights your mix or timer ran, or that you logged by hand, to show a streak. This is a habit counter kept on the device. It is not health data, it is not shared, and you can clear it by uninstalling the app.
• Sounds. Every soundscape is generated by us and bundled inside the app. Nothing is downloaded or streamed, and the app works fully offline. The app never records audio and does not use the microphone.
• Bedtime reminder. If you turn the reminder on, the app schedules one local notification a day on your phone. Nothing is sent anywhere to produce it.
• Background playback. While a mix plays, the app runs a media playback service so the sound continues with the screen off and shows controls on the lock screen. It stops when the sleep timer fades the sound out or when you stop it.
• Backup. Android may include the app's private data in your own Google account backup if you have Android backup switched on, so your mixes can be restored on a new phone. That backup is controlled by you and by Google, not by us.

The free version shows a banner ad below the Sounds, Mixes, Sessions and Night tabs and, occasionally, a full-screen ad after you stop a mix yourself, served by Google AdMob. Ads are never shown on the player screen, during a session, while audio is playing, or when the timer fades a mix out, and full-screen ads are never shown between 9 pm and 7 am. There is also an optional rewarded ad: if you choose to watch it, every Plus feature is unlocked for 12 hours. That ad only ever starts when you tap its button. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect the Android advertising ID, approximate location derived from your IP address, ad interaction data and diagnostics, and shares them with Google to serve and measure ads. See Google's privacy policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings > Google > Ads. In the European Economic Area and the UK you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings > Ad privacy choices. Your mixes, sessions and sleep log are never used for advertising. Subscribing to DeepDream Plus removes all ads.

DeepDream Plus is sold through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment and holds your purchase history under the Google Play terms and privacy policy. The app stores only whether the subscription is active, and checks that with Google Play when it starts.

We do not operate any servers for this app and do not collect, store or sell personal data. The app has no accounts and no analytics or crash-reporting SDK.

DeepDream is a general-audience app. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Data stays on your device in the app's private storage. Communication with Google services uses encrypted connections.

• Turn the bedtime reminder off at any time in the app, or in Android notification settings.
• Delete any saved mix inside the app.
• Uninstalling the app removes all of its data from your device.
• Reset your advertising ID in Android settings, or remove ads with DeepDream Plus.
