BendMe

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

BendMe ("the app") is a stretching and Pilates app published by SnailPixel ("we"). This policy explains what the app does with your data. The short version: the app works on your device, has no accounts and no servers, and we do not collect your personal data. The only third-party service in the app is Google AdMob, which shows a banner ad to users without a BendMe Plus subscription.

What the app keeps on your device

  • Your practice. The routines you finish (date, routine name and minutes), your streak, your Pilates plan progress and the custom routines you build are stored in the app's private storage on your device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. The app does not ask for or store health or body measurements.
  • Settings. Your theme, voice cue setting, reminder time and whether BendMe Plus is active are stored in the same private storage.
  • Content. All routines, Pilates plans and the illustrated exercise demos are part of the app. Nothing is downloaded, and every routine works offline.
  • Voice cues. Spoken cues use the text-to-speech engine already installed on your phone (for example Google Text-to-speech); that engine is governed by its own maker's policy. The app never records audio.
  • Reminders. If you turn the daily reminder on, the app schedules one local notification a day on your phone. If you start a free trial of BendMe Plus, the app schedules one local notification the day before the trial ends. Nothing is sent anywhere to produce them.
  • Backup. Android may include the app's private data in your own Google account backup if you have Android backup switched on, so your progress can be restored on a new phone. That backup is controlled by you and by Google, not by us.

Advertising (free version)

The free version shows a banner ad at the bottom of the Stretch and Pilates library screens, served by Google AdMob. There are no full-screen or video ads, and no ads are ever shown while a routine is playing. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect the Android advertising ID, approximate location derived from your IP address, ad interaction data and diagnostics, and shares them with Google to serve and measure ads. See Google's privacy policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings > Google > Ads. In the European Economic Area and the UK you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings > Ad privacy choices. Your routines and progress are never used for advertising. Subscribing to BendMe Plus removes all ads.

Purchases

BendMe Plus is sold through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment and holds your purchase history under the Google Play terms and privacy policy. The app stores only whether the subscription is active, and checks that with Google Play when it starts.

Data we collect

We do not operate any servers for this app and do not collect, store or sell personal data. The app has no accounts and no analytics or crash-reporting SDK.

Children

BendMe is a general-audience app. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Security

Data stays on your device in the app's private storage. Communication with Google services uses encrypted connections.

Your choices

  • Turn the daily reminder or voice cues off at any time in Settings.
  • Edit or delete your custom routines inside the app.
  • Uninstalling the app removes all of its data from your device.
  • Reset your advertising ID in Android settings, or remove ads with BendMe Plus.
